DARE TO LEAD™ CURRICULUM
Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals. Kristen Hemingway is a certified Dare to Lead™ facilitator and was trained by Dr. Brené Brown herself.
Courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings and coaching to help individuals, teams and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.
Brené is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, and most recently completed a seven-year study on courageous leadership. She is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers including Dare to Lead, which debuted at #1 on The Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly lists.
COACHING AND TEAM BUILDING PROGRAMS
Individual Coaching: Based on desired performance and influence goals, we work one-on-one to identify near term change efforts and experiments designed to break through leadership plateaus. We also offer a pioneering 360 leadership assessment, the Leadership Circle Profile. This analytical tool measures eighteen leadership competencies and also measures eleven internal assumptions that may be limiting your effectiveness.
Team-Based Coaching: We bring experiential and tangible programs into organizations to bring out the creative, resourceful and aligned leader inside. Our certified coaches and seasoned team facilitators ask powerful questions to identify the team landscape and then work alongside leaders to move forward and find ways to uniquely engage the strengths of each team.
